In the spring of 2026, I had restorations and porcelain crowns placed on 6 upper, anterior teeth by Dr. Denise Antalis of Ohio Smiles in Cambridge. OH. Follow me for a few moments if you will and I will share my experience... In my teens, twenties and thirties, I was a photography model and my teeth were one of my prized assets. Fast forward to the present and I am now a woman in her late sixties. I still felt and feel that "younger woman" inside of myself, but my smile was definately showing my age, regrettably. I've been in need and in search of a "Smile Makeover" for 10 years, give or take, but haven't had the restorations done because I've not been impressed with numerous dentists "Before and After" photographs of their patients anterior crown results. It has to be perfection to please me. I realize that I set my standards high and it can be frustrating to say the least...for all parties. Thats just who I am. In my search for "My Person" I was referred to Dr. Denise Antalis. I had never heard of her and felt I had nothing to loose by scheduling a consultation with her. Thats where my journey began. FINALLY!! From the first moments we began our conversation to the hour my anterior crowns were seated, Dr. Denise Antalis truly listened to my every concern and every detail of what I was expecting my outcome to be. SHE DELIVERED IN EVERY WAY!! Dr. Denise Antalis is an artist, a perfectionist and the only dentist I believe was capable of giving me the results I was desperately seeking and a bonus fir me is that she is conveniently located in NE Ohio. She is one of the "Best Kept Secrets" in my area. I am updating my review of 3 years ago. As a continuing patient of Dr. Antalis my five star rating has not changed. My teeth and overall health have both benefited from Dr. Antalis’ care. From recognizing the signs of Sleep Apnea, techniques for bite correction/jaw alignment, as well as cosmetic options . . . Ohio Smiles offers the highest quality dental care. A great big “thank you” to Dr. Antalis & her entire staff! Mary I'm 54 years old and for the first time I can honestly say, I had a pleasant visit to the dentist. I had a follow up with my sleep appliance today and I want to share all of the wonderful things I am feeling. I am sleeping so much better that I am starting to have more energy. Dr. Antalis is very gentle and kind. My husband likes to bring me because he loves the cookies and that the team chats with him. They have easy scheduling and try not to keep you waiting! It is worth my drive because the appliance is helping me so much. I am grateful that I found OHIOSmiles!

UPDATE: ** I have been seeing Dr. Antalis and Nikki (my hygienist) for about 8 or 9 years. I recently moved away from the area and tried to find another dental practice but nothing compares to the excellent knowledge and treatment that Dr. Antalis and staff provide to their patients. They listen, they do what is necessary, they aren’t pushy and they genuinely care. This practice is like family.** I have been seeing Dr Antalis for over 3 years now for TMJ related issues and recently switched to using her as my primary dentist. She is very knowledgeable and very personable. I really like all of her staff members as well. They go above and beyond to make me feel informed and comfortable.

Very personable and professional staff who care about care of their patients. I’m always impressed how well they communicate with one another and the consistency of the care provided! In addition, the continuing education to ensure the best care possible is always appreciated and provides confidence in knowing they consider individual circumstances!

I cannot recommend Dr. Antalis enough! I recently visited her office to have cavities filled. She and her team went above & beyond to ensure I was as comfortable as possible throughout the entire procedure, with so much patience and care. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer all of your questions. There is true heart and passion in the care you receive from Dr. Antalis and her team. If you are someone who is looking for best in class dental care, this is the place to go! They truly care about their patients here!

I suffered from severe migraines almost daily and could not find relief even with prescription medication. Dr. Antalis recommended I get a mouthpiece to help with my severe migraines and I am so glad I did. I rarely have a migraine now and feel so much better. I am shocked at how well it worked, it is truly unbelievable. I am thankful for Dr. Antalis and the relief I now have.

Excellent dentist who really cares about her patients! My daughter (5 years old) had 2 fillings done today. My daughter was scared, and did not make things easy for Dr. Antalis. The Dr. Was patient with her, and worked quickly at every opportunity given to make sure that my daughter didn't have to be there for too long. She was great at talking to her and reassuring her that she would never hurt her on purpose. Edited to add: my daughter has come here a total of 3 times now to complete her fillings on her molars. She has come to love Dr Antalis so much that she picked out a doll and Dr clothes for her birthday and named her doll Dr. Antalis ❤️. Dr Antalis really works with her and found what works for my daughter when other calming techniques didn't work. She's an all-star dentist for sure!

Went for my 1st visit today. It was absolutely phenomenal. I was greeted with a smile and my visit started with a tour. Which was so nice and comforting. The techs were nice and full of information. Dr. A is absolutely amazing. Shes nice, shows concern and makes sure you needs are taken care of. I'll be going here for a long time.

I switched to OHIOsmiles after my original dentist retired. I felt immediately at ease. I was greeted by friendly staff Amanda. She gave me a tour of the office and answered questions. She provided guidance on filling out paperwork. Niki did my x-rays, pictures and cleaning with help from Rachel. Both extremely nice and easy going ladies! They were VERY thorough. I've been struggling with ear issues for years and Dr. Antalis is confident she knows the cause and can help me. I am so looking forward to being free from pain! Desiree was a doll and helped answer any insurance and helped set me up with payments. I will recommend them to anyone! They are great!

Dr. Antalis and her team are fantastic beyond measure! I called in this morning after injuring my neck while sleeping, and was seen later that day. I was advised to see a chiropractor, which I did before going to OHIOSmiles. At OHIOSmiles I was given spa like treatment with a tens machine which relaxes the muscles, NuCalm which takes you out of fight or flight, a blanket, pillow and water. Dr. Antalis is not only a wonderful general dentist but she has furthered her education to help people with TMJ/head and neck pain. I was then seen by Dr. Antalis and her caring assistant, and they used a MLS laser which reduces inflammation and brings blood flow to the area of pain. I feel Dr. Antalis used all of her tools and knowledge to help get me out of pain and explained everything they were doing along the way. I may need a another session but I went from not being able to dress my self this morning to now lifting my arm above my head. I recommend OHIOSmiles to anyone. Thank you again!

My Type A personality is extremely grateful for the competence and efficacy of this practice. Forgive me for the long review, but this practice is worth every second. I have been to quite a few dentists in my forty years of life. My very first childhood dentist set the bar pretty high. So high, in fact, that it cultivated a LOVE of going to the dentist that has stuck with me all these years. I’ve visited dentists in several different states. Dentists of various ages. Dentists in small towns with small practices and dentists in large cities with large practices. With that being said, I’m quite particular about the experience. I’ve had a few poor encounters, but overall most dentist visits are about the same. Then enter Dr. Denise Antalis at OHIOSmiles. Prior to going, I did my due diligence. I read her credentials, I read reviews. I perused the website. That alone made me feel pretty confident. However, from the initial phone call to setup an appointment for myself and my child, to the most recent visit (today).. this place continually impresses me. I actually told Dr. Antalis today that her practice runs like a well-oiled machine. From the minute you walk in the door, it’s like you’ve known these ladies your whole life. They are so sweet and welcoming. Their hospitality is bar none. I’ve seen two hygienists here and I am completely blown away by how knowledgeable they are. Ive always gotten the feeling that hygienists are vastly underutilized. They refrain from answering questions and defer to their boss. Yet, I get the sense that Dr. Antalis trusts these women to inform her patients on her behalf. They are intelligent, thorough and willing to answer any questions or concerns. Dr. Antalis is then efficiently informed of every needed detail when she enters the room. When you meet this dentist, you understand why this place operates so well. She is so kind, personable and professional. Most importantly, she’s thorough and great at her profession. Every single person in this practice has a job to do and they do it extremely well. My family and I have healthy teeth that feel and look great. (My 7 year-old daughter is requesting that I add how clean the office is, and how the “ooey-gooey” written on the packaging on the cookies they handout is ABSOLUTELY right. PS: They are phenomenal with children! )

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Antalis for many years. She and her office staff have always been very professional and veey friendly. I had a dental injury early one morning, I called the office as they were just opening for the day, talked to Dr Antalis. She saw me at her office within 30 min. I was so thankful. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I haven't been to a dentist since I was 16, I've brushed and flossed but eventually you just have to go back in. Well, this team has erased my fears and is stock full of the nicest, most accommodating staff I've seen. These ladies work seamlessly together! The procedures are smooth, well explained/planned and if there's any pain you don't notice it 20 minutes later or better yet when you're home trying to enjoy dinner with the family Truly doing a wonderful service to the community, Thank you!🙌

I have been going to Ohio Smiles for the majority of my life for both orthodontics and regular cleanings. In my 10 year journey, I have always been treated above and beyond exceptional. The staff are so friendly and treat you like one of their own. They care so deeply about your teeth, as well as your life as a whole. They make sure to look at everything about a person’s mouth, as they offer more services than what meets the eye. Airways, tongue ties, botox, and more are all common practices at Ohio Smiles. They want to make sure that everything about you is taken care of, including your stomach as they offer complimentary cookies and beverages as you are leaving. I could not recommend Dr. Antalis and Ohio Smiles more.

Amazing team of professionals took care of my cracked crown by removing, MAKING and installing my new tooth. It’s perfect and Dr Antalis made sure my tooth was perfect for me. No one can tell and that’s the point. Such care was given to see that I was well taken care of all day. It was a loooong day but one and done… start to finish in one day. Excellent! Highly recommend!
